課程目標 |
This is a preparatory course for students who will continue pursuing advanced topics of fluid flow modeling, including numerical simulation, mathematical analysis, and experimental measurement. The course content is designed to familiarize the undergraduate (and also the first-year graduate students who have not taken fluid mechanics before) with the fundamental equations which govern most of the flow problems in science and engineering. The underlying physics behind the mathematics will also be emphasized. |

課程要求 |
No previous knowledge of fluid mechanics or undergraduate course on fluid mechanics is needed. Multivariable Calculus plus an undergraduate course of Applied Mathematics or Engineering Mathematics on Vector Analyses, Ordinary Differential Equations, Fourier analyses, Linear Partial Differential Equations, however, are required.
本課程無需先修其他基礎流體力學課程，但是需修畢微積分、工程數學 (包括向量分析、常微分方程式、傅立葉分析、線性偏微分方程式) |
